The Moment:
Oct. 28 - The NCAA releases its annual Graduation Rates Report and Siena boasts a 92% Graduation Success Rate, the eighth highest rate in the nation. It marks the 10th anniversary of the GSR and Siena's 10-year GSR average of 94.8% ranks in the top-10 percent of all Division I schools.
Why we Loved it:
Siena student athletes graduate. When the final whistle sounds, that's what really matters.
Behind the Scenes:
The NCAA report also included the Federal Graduation Rate (FGR). Using the most recent FGR data, Siena's 80% rate equaled that of the general student body at the College and was well above the national Division I student athlete rate of 66%.
Did You Know:
Eleven of Siena's 18 varsity sports teams posted perfect 100% cohort (4-year average) GSR's.
