Dec. 26, 2014 As we count down the final days of the year, we take a look back at the top Siena Athletics' moments of 2014. Over the final 10 days of the year we will count down the Top-10 Moments of 2014, continuing today with Moment #6.

The Moment
Apr. 27 - Following a one-year hiatus, women's golf won its 13th conference title in 14 years in capturing the 2014 MAAC Women's Golf Championship at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Why We Loved It
Siena dominated the field in firmly re-establishing itself as the MAAC's top women's golf program. The Saints finished a comfortable 27 strokes ahead of second place Fairfield and Siena's top-four finishers all placed in the top-10.

Behind the Scenes
Senior Kylie Strijek became Siena's 10th winner of the McLeod Memorial Award, presented to the individual champion. Strijek opened a three-stroke lead following the first round in leading wire-to-wire. She led the field with 29 pars and added four birdies over the weekend.

Did You Know?
Head Coach Dave Wronowski was named the MAAC Coach of the Year for the third time in four years. Wronowski has led the Saints to MAAC Championships in eight of his first nine years at the helm, including the program's first two NCAA Tournament Appearances (2012, 2014).

Quotable
"I am very proud of all the girls this week. Everyone contributed to this weekend's victory and I'm very happy for Kylie as she was able to hang on to win her final MAAC." Head Coach Dave Wronowski
