Ticket Information: Siena Hosting Illinois State in CBI Semifinals

Fresh off Monday night's exhilarating quarterfinal win over Penn State, Siena learned it will host Illinois State in the CBI Semifinals Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Times Union Center. The winner will advance to play in the CBI Championship Series next week.

Tickets are priced at $20 for adults and $8 for children and non-Siena students. They can be purchased at the Times Union Center Box Office beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, or through TicketMaster by using the link at the top of this page.

Season ticket holders who pre-ordered tickets for the semifinal round can pick up their tickets at the Times Union Center will call starting at 3 p.m. Tuesday. All other seating will be made available on a first-come, first serve basis. Account manager will be unavailable for this game. All on-line purchases must be made using the link at the top of the page.

Members of the Siena community will be offered a discounted $17 ticket if they present their employee ID card at the Times Union Center box office when purchasing tickets. The $17 rate will be applied for everyone in their party (maximum six (6) tickets). The first 600 Siena students to arrive at the MAC Wednesday night will receive free tickets to the game. The first free shuttle bus departs at 6 p.m.

Wednesday's meeting will mark the first-ever between Siena and Illinois State. The Redbirds are 18-15 overall and went 9-9 in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.

Like Siena, Illinois State advanced to the CBI Semifinals with a pair of home wins. The Redbirds defeated Morehead State 77-67 in First Round action and topped Texas A&M 62-55 Monday night in the quarterfinals.

Siena and Illinois State had two common opponents this season in Manhattan and Vermont. The Redbirds lost at home to Manhattan 79-70 on Nov. 20 and to Vermont 87-76 on Nov. 27 in the University of San Francisco Golden Gate Challenge. The Saints split their regular season series with the Jaspers and lost at Vermont.
