Siena Swimming and Diving dropped their first meet of 2015 to LIU Post by a score of 158-126. Juniors Megan Grace and Hailey Beers both won two events each for the Saints.

Grace picked up the first win of the day for the Saints in the 1000 free swimming 10:50.79. Emily Carideo, Lauren Daly and Shannon Love picked up second place finishes in the 200 free, 100 breast, 50 free, respectively.

Beers took the 1 meter and 3 meter dives with scores of 223.20 and 219.45, while teammate Michelle Swanson scored 187.05 and 214.04.

Jacque Medina followed up Grace's first place finish in the 500 free swimming a 5:28.50, which was good for second place in the event.

In the relays the team of Fiona Dretzka, Kelsey Helin and Amanda York, and Love led the way for the Saints in the 200 medley relay swimming a 1:55.34. In the 400 free relay Medina, Grace, Maggie Fletcher and Love swam a 3:46.99.

The Pioneers picked up first place finishes 11 of the 16 events en route to the victory. The Saints return to action next Saturday when they travel to Loretta, Pa. to take on St. Francis (Pa.) at 1 p.m.
