Final Stats

Colgate won all nine matches to post a clean 7-0 sweep of Siena men's tennis Saturday in Hamilton. The Raiders swept the six singles contests in straight sets and won all three doubles matches.

Jacob Dougherty set the tone, teaming with Tom Haile for an 8-2 win at top doubles and then posting a 6-4 and 6-0 win over Siena's Darren Reisch at No. 1 singles. Alan Pleat defeated Diego Lebron at No.2 singles and also captured an 8-6 win in doubles play.

Siena freshman Alessandro Saglia put up a big fight at No. 3 singles, before falling 7-5 and 6-3 to Nick Laub. Saglia also teamed with Matthew Funiciello in a game 8-6 loss at No.2 doubles.

Siena falls to 6-5 on the season. The Saints play at Merrimack next Sunday.
