Seniors Eric Sumanaru and Matthew Funiciello made sure their Senior Day was one to remember, teaming for a key doubles win and then posting individual victories in Siena's 5-2 victory over Saint Peter's Saturday at Schenectady's Central Park.

Finiciello and Sumanaru defeated Oliver Bellomi and Jonathan Peredes 8-3 at No.2 doubles, securing the doubles point for the Saints and setting the stage for the team's first victory of the spring season.

Sumanaru followed that performance up with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Bellomi at No. 3 singles, highlighting the Saints 5-2 team victory.

The Peacocks were playing shorthanded and had to forfeit No. 3 doubles and the bottom two singles spots.

The Saints close the season with three straight road matches - at Marist (April 13), Fairfield (April 18) and Rider (April 19).
