Final Results

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.- The Saint Francis University (Pa.) swim team won 12 of 16 events as they moved past Siena 166.5-121.5. Freshman Theresa Cotter led the Saints with two wins in the 100 and 200 Back, respectively. Three different swimmers from Saint Francis (Pa.) won two individual events apiece to lead the Red Flash.

The day began with the 200 Yard Medley Relay when the team of Fiona Dretzka, Lauren Daly, Cotter and Davenport finished second in a time of 1:51.71. Freshman Emma Rupert finished in the top five of the 1000 Free, taking third in a time of 11:11.40. She once again took third in the other distance event of the afternoon (500 Free) in a time of 5:25.80.

Hailey Beers swept both diving events to lead Siena. She scored a six-round total of 244.30 in the 1-Meter Dive Event and then broke her own Siena Swim Center pool record in the 3 Meter Dive Event when she scored a 279.85. Her previous record was 271.15 (set back in 2015).

This meet marked the regular season finale for the Saints. Siena will look to rebound as they prepare for the MAAC Championships that are set to take place February 10-13 at Erie Community College in Buffalo, N.Y.
