ALBANY, N.Y. - Siena Women's Basketball travels to SEFCU Arena on the campus of the University of Albany for the annual Albany Cup. The Saints and Great Danes meet up for the 20th time in program history with Siena holding a 10-9 record.
The game will be televised throughout New York on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and outside the state on ESPN3. Here's 10 Things to Know About Today's Game
1. Siena is 10-9 over the Great Danes, but UAlbany has won eight of the last ten meetings.
2. Jackie Benitez earned MAAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 25.5 points per game in the first week.
3. This is one of four doubleheaders Siena women's basketball has with the Siena men's team
4. The Saints recorded 18 steals against Colgate. This is the most steals since their 19 against Niagara in the regular season finale in 2015-16.
5. Jackie Benitez (24.7) , Kollyns Scarbrough (13.0) and Meghan Donohue (10.0) all average in double figures through the first three games.
6. Siena was picked third in the MAAC Preseason Poll, the highest since 2007
7. Jackie Benitez scored a career-high 30 points against the Hawks. This is also a league-high points scored this season.
8. UAlbany enters the contest with a 2-3 overall record. They lost the first two games to Kentucky and Miami followed by two-wins at SEFCU over Army and BU. The Great Danes then lost to Fordham in overtime on Tuesday.

10. UAlbany is under new leadership under head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee. She has a 82-49 record as a head coach after her stints at the University of Pikeville, West Virginia Wesleyan College and UAlbany.
