Here's 10 Things to Know About Today's Game
1.Siena leads the series 41-21 over the Jaspers. Manhattan snapped a four-game losing streak against the Saints with a 56-49 victory on Feb. 14, 2016.
2.Senior captain Meghan Donohue became the 27th member of the 1,000 Point Club against Northeastern. She also became the first Saint this season to record a double-double as she posted 18 points and 11 rebounds against the Huskies.
3.Donohue leads the MAAC with a .589 field goal percentage while Jackie Benitez is first in the MAAC averaging 3.2 three-point field goals per game.
4. Siena scored 86 points against UAlbany, the most points scored by the Saints since March 6, 2014 when they chipped in 87 against Manhattan in the MAAC Tournament.
5. Both Jackie Benitez (2.5) and Denisha Petty-Evans (1.8) are ranked in the Top-10 in the MAAC in steals per game
6. Siena was picked third in the MAAC Preseason Poll, the highest since 2007. Manhattan was picked to finish seventh
7. Siena enters the contest with a 1-1 conference record, while the Jaspers enter with a 0-2 record.
8. Manhattan is ranked second in the MAAC in blocked shots (4.4). They are behind only Quinnipiac (4.6).
