Jace Koretz and Evan Nierman accounted for all three of Siena's points as the Saints were unable to get past Colby Sawyer as the Chargers edged Siena by a final of 4-3 in Latham on Saturday night.
The Saints secured the doubles point early with wins at first and second doubles. Saglia and Lebron teamed up for a tight 7-5 victory at number one while Koretz and Nierman teamed up for a 6-2 win at the number two doubles position.
Lebron battled through a knee injury but fell at number two singles in two close sets (6-4, 6-4)
Siena was only able to grab two of the six singles matches. Koretz won at 6-3, 6-2 at third singles and doubles partner Nierman took his match at number four in straight sets.
The Saints return to action Saturday March 19th when the team travels to Allegany, N.Y. to face sister school St. Bonaventure for a 10 a.m. match.
