April 5, 2016 LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Siena Basketball freshman guard Kinnon LaRose has announced his intention to transfer from the College following the conclusion of the spring semester. The Ogdensburg, N.Y. product recently informed the team of his decision.
"We really like Kinnon and wish that he had stayed," said head coach Jimmy Patsos. "We are disappointed that he is leaving, but he leaves in great academic standing and just wanted an opportunity to play more. We thank him for his contributions this year and he will continue to work out with the team until he departs, and leaves as a solid part of the family."
LaRose saw action in 29 of Siena's 34 games this season, and averaged 1.3 points in 5.4 minutes of action. He shot an even 50% from the field (12-24), including 45% (9-20) from three-point range.
LaRose is currently in good academic standing at Siena College.
