LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. â€" Junior striker Alexander Tejera and freshman forward Matt Crisafulli scored just 50 seconds apart early in the second half as Siena Soccer rallied from an early hole to draw Binghamton 2-2 at a jam-packed Siena Turf Field. Junior goalkeeper Aleksa Radosavljevic stopped nine shots for the Saints which entered play ranked 21st in this week's TopDrawerSoccer Top-25 Poll.

Binghamton (1-0-2) got off to a strong start and jumped out to a quick lead just 7:58 into the contest. Conrad Nowowiejski's cross from left found the head of Miles Burbank to give the Bearcats the early advantage.

Siena (1-1-1) would continue to trail heading into the second half, but a couple of quick strikes would put the Saints on top. In the 53rd minute, Siena drew a foul in the box and Tejera converted the penalty kick for his third goal of the young season. Just moments later following a Binghamton turnover, senior midfielder David Itoafa played a pass ahead to Crisafulli who beat the charging keeper to the ball and finished his second goal in his first three collegiate matches.

Siena kept the pressure on, attempting seven shots over the first 15 minutes of the stanza, but couldn't find the insurance tally. And in the 63rd minute Binghamton drew even on Alex Varkatzas' marker.

The remainder of the match was evenly played as neither side was able to go back in front. The Bearcats held a slim 17-16 edge in shots overall, while the Saints harbored the slight 7-6 advantage in corners.

Siena returns to action Tuesday when they head to Holy Cross for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
