Sept. 6, 2016 LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Siena College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Rachel White as the new athletic communications intern and multimedia coordinator. Originally from Central Illinois, White comes to Siena from the University of Central Florida.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join the Siena Saints and I am eager to do what I can to help connect our fans to our athletic department through multimedia,” White said.

At UCF, White served as a broadcast intern for two years. She did play-by -play broadcasting for volleyball, softball, and baseball, as well as shooting and editing postgame videos for the athletic department. During her time at UCF, White also served as an on-camera analyst for a YouTube sports show called Hitting the Field and was a reporter for the weekly live show, Knightly News.

White graduated from UCF in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio Television.
