CAMBRIDGE, MA- Siena continues their challenging beginning of the 2017-18 season when they face Harvard to play their third game in six days. The Saints enter the game with a 1-1 record, while the Crimson enters with a 0-2 record.

Harvard leads the all-time series against the Saints with a 3-2 record after recording the 65-58 victory last season when Siena hosted the Crimson for Kid's Day in Loudonville, New York. Harvard boasts a 7-1 record in their last eight home openers while holding a 25-10 mark under head coach Kathy Delany-Smith.
Kollyns Scarbrough earned the MAAC's first Player of the Week honors after averaging a double-double during opening weekend. Scarbrough averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds in games against Big Ten contender Penn State and sister school St. Bonaventure.
In two games played, Siena has come back big in the third and fourth quarter. Against Penn State, the Saints were down 35 points but came back to trail by just 12. Against St. Bonaventure, Siena trailed by 12 and came back to win by eight. Their average 71 points per game leads the MAAC in scoring.
The Crimson host the Saints in their home opener in a newly-renovated Lavietes Pavilion. In the season opener against Dayton at the Maine Tip-Off Tournament, senior Taylor Rooks and sophomore Jeannie Boehm each recorded a double-double. Harvard was selected third in the Ivy League Preseason Media Poll. The Crimson has finished in the top three of the Ivy League Standings every year since the 2006-07 campaign.
