LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Men's Tennis fell 7-0 to Monmouth on Saturday afternoon at Albany Academy. The Saints fell to 4-10, 2-1 in conference play this season.
Monmouth got things started quickly as they took all doubles courts for a 1-0 lead heading into singles. The Hawks won 6-1 on courts two and three and took down Alessandro Saglia and Matt Bellino on court one 6-3.
In singles play, the Hawks won in straight sets on all six courts to complete the sweep. Geovanny Mendoza put up a fight on court three in the second set but fell 6-1, 7-5.
The men travel to Hamden, Connecticut as they take on Quinnipiac on Sunday, Apr. 9. Match is set for 2 p.m.
