Siena Men's Golf teed off its 2017 season Saturday with the first 36 of 54 holes at the Cornell Invitational held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. The Saints stand 15th out of 16 teams following identical rounds of 309.

Yale led following each of the first two rounds of play, although the Bulldogs hold just a one-stroke advantage over Ivy League rival Dartmouth and only a two-shot lead on Temple. The Saints improved their positioning by one spot in Round 2, leapfrogging MAAC rival Canisius.

Junior Jack Bellardini paced the Saints with rounds of 75 and 77 Saturday. Freshman Jack Brown sits just four strokes back after firing a 79 and a 77 for his first two collegiate rounds.

Siena concludes action with the final 18 holes Sunday. The Saints will tee off from 10th hole at 8:45 a.m.
