LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Women's Basketball looks to Stomp Out Homelessness when the Saints host Penn in their home opener on November 10 at 2 p.m. at the ARC. Fans can purchase an official Stomp Out Homelessness t-shirt at the game for just $5 that will benefit Interfaith Partnership for the Homelessness (IPH).
Â
Fans can also purchase a Game Day Ticket Package for $10 a person that includes a ticket, t-shirt and Siena promotional item through the box office on game day.
Â
Stomp Out Homelessness is a month-long campaign bringing youth groups, businesses and sports fans together in a fun and interactive way to fight homelessness. Proceeds benefit IPH, an agency building stronger communities by empowering individuals and families who are homeless or facing homelessness to become self-sufficient. Last year, Stomp Out Homelessness raised over $5,000 for IPH. At halftime, all fans are encouraged and invited to come down to the court and join fellow stompers in dancing the Cha Cha Slide; in a fun and symbolic way to stomp out homelessness.
Â
Stomp Out Homelessness started simply as an awareness event, bringing IPH staff, homeless clients and community members together in an effort to end homelessness. The Siena Women's Basketball program has teamed up with IPH for the past several years, making routine visits to the facility while hosting annual Stomp Out Homelessness games to raise money and awareness for the cause.
