LOUDONVILLE, NY — Siena Women's Basketball will welcome alumni, supporters, families, and members of the general public to the third annual Siena Women's Basketball Tip-Off Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 12-3 p.m. at the Del Grosso Practice Court/UHY Center on the campus of Siena University.
Themed the Harvest Edition, this year's celebration will expand upon the tradition of the annual Tip-Off Celebration by opening the event to the entire Siena Women's Basketball community. Originally created as an intimate alumni fundraiser, the event will provide a family-friendly afternoon celebrating the past, present, and future of Siena Women's Basketball while supporting the program as it prepares for the 2026-27 season.
Guests will have the opportunity to connect with Head Coach
Terry Primm, the coaching staff, current Saints, and Siena Women's Basketball alumni while getting an inside look at the program ahead of the upcoming campaign. The afternoon will feature alumni recognition, introductions of the 2026-27 team, a season preview from Primm, basketball activities, photos, autographs, and opportunities for guests to interact directly with the players.
A featured component of the afternoon will be "Inside Siena WBB," including a season conversation with Primm covering the Saints' identity, style of play, direction of the program, and championship pursuit. The event will also bring together generations of Siena Women's Basketball through alumni and current-player remarks and a celebration of the program's history.
Families will have opportunities to participate in basketball activities and shooting stations, take photos with the Saints, collect autographs, and enjoy fall-themed food and refreshments. A dedicated player-interaction experience will allow guests to connect with members of the team in small groups, while a Siena Women's Basketball family photo will cap the afternoon.
The Harvest Edition will also feature additional opportunities to support Siena Women's Basketball, with potential raffle, auction, signed-item, and additional giving opportunities being finalized. Proceeds from the event will support Siena Women's Basketball.
"We're excited about our 3rd Annual Tip-Off Celebration—an event created to engage our alumni and supporters and bring them into what we're building here," said Primm. "Our mission is to create a legacy of love and leadership for the young women who play for us, and we do that by building a program that wins championships, advances in the NCAA Tournament, and creates life-changing experiences for our kids on the court, in the classroom, and in the community our program and university serve.
"This season will be full of challenges and adversity that we look forward to meeting head-on, and with the support of our alumni and community, we feel confident we will be standing in the championship circle at the end of the year. I look forward to spending a fun and exciting afternoon with everyone!"
Admission is $75 per adult, while children ages 17 and under will be admitted free. Families are encouraged to attend, with casual attire, Siena gear, or costumes welcome. The event is designed as a celebration and fundraising experience for the Siena Women's Basketball community rather than simply an opportunity to watch the team.
Supporters who are unable to attend will still have an opportunity to make a gift in support of Siena Women's Basketball.
