Saints Wrap Up Play at Pinehurst Intercollegiate

Siena Men's Golf finished in 13th place at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate contested on Pinehurst No. 8 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Junior Jack Bellardini paced the Saints with a Final Round score of 74.

Radford rallied to capture the tightly contested team championship. The Highlanders held off Ball State by one stroke over the 54-hole event, and both Old Dominion and Dayton by two shots to take the title. Siena shot a Final Round score of 313, following an Opening Round score of 325 and a Second Round score of 300.

Ball State's Michael VanDeventer led wire-to-wire to win the individual championship at +2 overall for the weekend. Bellardini was the Saints' top finisher, placing tied for 31st overall and 13 shots off the pace following rounds of 80, 74, and 74. Bellardini birdied three holes while parring 10 others on Sunday.

The Saints return to the course in three weeks for the ABARTA Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational. Tournament action tees off on Sunday, Apr. 1 at Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown, Pennsylvania.
