Final Stats

Siena Men's Tennis fell 7-0 at St. Bonaventure on Sunday afternoon. The Saints played the Bonnies in their final non-conference matchup of the season.

Cameron L. Kirkwood and Muhammad Raza Sawani fell quickly at doubles two 6-1. Alessandro Saglia and Guillermo Lopez Torres at doubles one and Geovanny Mendoza and Matt Bellino at doubles three fought hard but both duos were unable to come up with the win. Both duos lost 7-6 to give the Bonnies a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.

Siena would fight hard but would fall in straight sets on four of the six singles courts. Raza Sawani won the first set 6-4 and fell in the second 6-1 to force a tiebreaker. He would eventually fall 10-5 in the battle. Singles six would be forced to retire to give the Bonnies the complete sweep.

Siena will host Marist on Thursday, April 5 at 4 p.m. in the hopes of making their way to the MAAC Championship. Siena is 1-1 in league play.
