Ten things to know for Sunday's game versus the Stags:
  • The Saints look to pick up a second straight victory after defeating Saint Peter's, 50-46, Sunday afternoon to complete the season sweep over the Peacocks. Junior Sabrina Piper led the team in scoring for the seventh time this season with 14 points and nine boards, setting a career-high in the latter. Junior Maddie Sims added 12 points and redshirt-senior Aaliyah Jones put forth 11. Sims tied a single-game program record with seven blocks in the victory, entering the Siena all-time top-10 in doing so.
  • The team registered 10 blocks in Sunday's victory, marking the first time since at least the 2000-01 campaign they have gone into double-figures in swats.
  • Defensively, Siena held their opponent to the lowest point total this season at 46 points, the least a team has scored against the Saints since Fab. 17, 2018, when Fairfield put up 44.
  • Following a win over Monmouth on Saturday, Jan. 19, Head Coach Ali Jaques became the second women's head coach in program history to reach 60 conference victories (61-63). Currently in her seventh year at the helm, Jaques holds a 98-111 all-time record, now just two wins away from becoming the third coach in program history to eclipse the 100-win threshold.
  • Siena has accumulated a 291-214 (.576) record in MAAC play all-time, including a 61-63 (.492) outcome under head coach Ali Jaques.
  • Adding two assists to her total on Sunday, senior Deja Rawls moved into sole possession of 16th all-time in program history in assists with 282. Rawls needs three more helps to tie Sue Trevellyan (285, 1979-82) for 15th place.
  • Maddie Sims is now 10th all-time in program history in blocks, with 81. The junior needs seven swats to tie Bronwyn Tobin (1996-00, 87) for ninth place.
  • Maddie Sims currently leads all players in the MAAC in double-doubles, with five so far this season, including three in conference play.
  • Having split the season series in each of the last two years, Siena holds a 31-41 all-time record against Fairfield. The Saints are looking to end a seven-game losing skid at Alumni Hall dating back to 2002.
  • The team will also look to halt a 10-game losing streak when competing in the state of Connecticut, having last won in the Nutmeg State on Feb. 21, 2015 over MAAC rival Fairfield at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT.
