LOUDONVILLE, NYÂ - The Siena Saints and the Marist Red Foxes will square off in the Alumni Recreation Center on Friday evening, with the opening serve of the match going up at 7 p.m. The Green and Gold look to bounce back from a couple of tough losses to Rider and Fairfield, while Marist is coming off a weekend split falling to Rider but topping Saint Peter's.

The Saints and Red Foxes last squared off back on Oct. 4 in Poughkeepsie, as the Green and Gold fell to Marist by a final score of 3-0 (23-25, 22-25, 17-25). JuniorÂ
Dakota Jackson led the way with eight kills on offense for the Saints, while Niki DeSerpa collected a match-high 18 kills for Marist.
Backing up Jackson's offense for Siena was six kills from freshmanÂ
Ally-Reese Williams, while classmateÂ
Maria Llinas turned out a double-double with 23 assists and 12 digs. SophomoreÂ
Maddy Dunigan was a wall at the net, having a hand in six of Siena's nine team blocks on the match. However offensievely, the Saints only hit .116 as a team on the night.
Last time out for the Green and Gold, they entered the third set tied at 1-1 at Fairfield Wednesday night, but they would fall to the Stags by a final of 3-1 (17-25, 27-25, 17-25, 19-25). Fairfield would have four players in double-figure kills, led by 15 apiece from Mayda Garcia and Joelle Battles.

Siena and Marist meet for the 70
th time between the two programs, with Siena holding a 43-26 advantage over the previous 69 times. The Red Foxes have won the previous five meetings between the teams, and the last Siena win came at home in the Alumni Recreation Center back on Oct. 22, 2016. On that day, the Saints would come away with a 3-1 (25-23 ,28-26, 20-25, 25-15) win.
