LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women's Basketball junior transfer
Rayshel Brown has been granted a legislative relief waiver from the NCAA. The Staten Island, New York native is eligible to play immediately, and will have the remainder of this year and all of the 2020-21 season to exhaust her eligibility.

Brown appeared in 40 games including 19 starts over her two seasons at La Salle, averaging 5.6 points and 2.3 rebounds spanning 18.1 minutes. She joins the Saints following a breakout sophomore season in which she averaged 8.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 steals over 21 games including 18 starts to garner PhillyCollegeSports.com Honorable Mention acclaim. Brown scored in double figures nine times this past season, including each of her final five games in which she averaged 13.8 points. She posted career-highs of 21 points and eight rebounds on Jan. 16 vs. George Washington.
A two-time Staten Island Advance All-Star, Brown also earned Second Team All-City honors her senior year after guiding Curtis High to the PSAL City Semifinals while averaging 13.5 points per game. She averaged double figures each of her final three years at Curtis, while totaling 1,062 varsity points.
