The Siena Men's Tennis team had tough goings of things on Super Bowl Sunday, as the Saints fell to the Bucknell Bison by a final score of 4-3.
In doubles, Siena started strong winning both courts 1 and 2 to take the 1-0 lead into singles. Tomas Del Olmo and Mohamed Sawani were only ones to get wins in singles, which allowed Bucknell to take four singles points.
"Tough weekend losing two matches by score of 4-3, but I like what I saw overall," said head coach
Jeff Osborn. "The improvement from last year is great, when we were losing easily to these same teams last year at this time. Great effort and will go back to work before we go to Pennsylvania for another long three day trip."
The Saints return to action Friday, Feb. 15 when they head out for another three-day gauntlet in Pennsylvania. They begin in a match with Lafayette, with first serve going up at 7 p.m.
