The Siena Saints competed at a high level on Saturday afternoon, as the women swept through the Providence Friars by a 7-0 final, taking all points.
In doubles, Siena won quick on court 1 with
Meagan Brown and

In Singles courts 2-4 won quickly in Straight sets with Weaver clinching the match at 4 in her first singles match since February of 2018 because of an injury. Courts 5 and 6 battled it out, but took wins to finish sweep for saints winning in 3rd set breakers. Also getting a victory in an exhibition play was freshman
Sarah Marro, as she took a clutch 7-6 win.
"We were a little rusty today in doubles but figured a way to take the point," said head coach
Jeff Osborn. "The girls played well in singles today and it was great to see Natalie back in the lineup playing well after a year off. Overall a good team effort today."
The Saints return to the court on Friday, Feb. 15 when the Saints begin a three-day Pennsylvania road swing, first taking on Lafayette in Easton, Pa.
