The Siena Saints women's tennis team fell to Cornell on Saturday afternoon, as the Saints three match win streak was snapped.
The only winner on the day for the Saints was at six singles, senior
Anessa Leyva, as she topped Cornell's Khary Pryce 6-2, 6-2 to take the lone Siena points. The Saints were defeated in singles 1-5.
In doubles, the Saints did not grab a point, losing all three matches as
Ann Phillips and
Natalie Weaver, along with the pairing of Julianna Gohner and
Dilara Spicer each scored but did not win.
The Saints return to action next Saturday, March 23 when they head to Amherst, MA to take on UMass at 1 p.m.
