Siena Men's Golf senior Jack Bellardini carded four birdies en-route to a -1, 71 in day two of the 2019 MAAC Championship in Lake Buena Vista, Florida Friday. The co-captain's performance helped the Saints (+26, 602) to move up into fourth place following the second round, passing Canisius after posting +14, 302 on the day.

Tying him for the largest individual jump of the day, Bellardini's performance moved him up 14 spots to tie freshman Jared Nelson (+5, 77) and three others for sixth place with +4, 148. After shooting +After shooting +4, 76 in round two on Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, sophomore Jack Brown held steady in a tie for 13th place with +6, 150 on the weekend.

Freshman Brad Whitaker (+12, 156) and senior Jack Downey (+15, 159) rounded out the Saint's five-man competition squad, carding +6, 79 and +7, 79, respectively on the par-72, 6894-yard course to land in a tie for 28th and 37th respectively.

Overall, Iona maintained their top spot after completing most of their scheduled action in round two holding a seven-stroke lead over Saint Peter's at the conclusion of the day's play. The Peacocks' Jeffrey Peters strands atop the individual leaderboard, on-pace for +2 for the second round and -1 on the weekend.

Although the Green and Gold were able to complete day two play prior to the suspension, play was halted Friday afternoon due to inclement weather, with the final flight of the day still having to finish the final three holes. Round two will resume play at 7 AM Saturday morning, with the third and final go-around of the 54-hole event beginning at 7:30 AM.
