Binghamton scored in five consecutive innings midway through the contest to take an 8-1 decision in non-conference action over Siena Baseball in Vestal. Anthony Meduri and Sean Trenholm each drove in a pair of runs apiece to pace the Bearcats.
Ryan McGee and
Brendan Conley combined to account for all five Siena (15-29) hits. McGee tallied a game-high three hits to go along with a stolen base, while Conley added a pair of hits highlighted by an RBI double to knock in the Saints' lone run in the fifth.
Binghamton (21-19) scored single runs in the third and fourth innings, before breaking things open with a three-run fifth. Trenholm capped the frame with a two-run homer to left.
Siena returns to action Saturday to open a pivotal conference series against Niagara at Connors Park with doubleheader action beginning at noon.
