Coming off a win over Canisius on Saturday, the Siena Saints are looking to make it two wins in a row for the first time this season. The Saints tied a program record, hitting 13 total three-pointers in the contest, led by five coming from an 18 point showing from sophomore Margo Peterson. Out of the Green and Gold's three wins, two of them have come at home when Siena defeated Sacred Heart (Nov. 16) and UAlbany (Dec. 7).

In the series history, Siena and Manhattan will be squaring off for the 69th time on Thursday morning, with Ali Jaques holding an 11-4 record against the Jaspers as a head coach.
The last time these two teams met was back on Feb. 3, 2019. Finishing their fifth game in 10 days, the Saints held a lead through the first three quarters. Siena struggled to score the basketball in the fourth and fell to the Jaspers by a final score 52-48 at Draddy Gymnasium. It would be the first loss of the year for the Saints when they had been leading at the half.

The Saints were led by a couple of nine point performances highlighted by Aaliyah Jones and Sabrina Piper. Piper and Jones each tossed out four assists. Jones would snag four steals, helping the Saints to 14 steals as a team in the ballgame. Joella Gibson would also have a solid game, scoring seven points and swiping a team-high five steals. The Jaspers were led by a 16 point performance from Courtney Warley, who fell a rebound shy of a double-double with nine rebounds. She also snagged a team-high six steals in the ballgame.
