ALBANY, NY - Siena Basketball concludes its four-game homestand, tips off the New Year, and resumes conference action when the Saints host Monmouth Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center. The Saints enter play winners of three straight, while the Hawks bring a four-game winning streak to the Capital Region.

Friday's game marks the final DeCrescente Craft Beer Night of the year. For just $20 receive a ticket to the game in the Craft Beer Pavilion in the end zone by the visiting bench, and six four-ounce samples of fine craft beers from exceptional local breweries. Those who already have a ticket to the game can still purchase admission into the Craft Beer Pavilion for only $15.

Siena (5-5, 1-0) enters the New Year in search of its sixth consecutive victory at the Times Union Center to open the season. The Saints have averaged 80.4 points on 49% shooting including 40% from three and 76% from the free throw line in starting 5-0 at home for the first time in four years.

Last year's MAAC runner-up Monmouth (6-5) enters the New Year as the conference's hottest team. The Hawks have had a flair for the dramatic as their last three victories during their four-game winning streak have been by a combined seven points, highlighted by back-to-back last second game-winning shots by Ray Salnave.

Monmouth leads the all-time series 12-4, and has won 11 of 13 meetings over Siena since joining the MAAC in 2013-14. However, each of the previous two seasons the programs have gone to overtime in their matchups at the Times Union Center.
