Siena Set to Host Marist in Gold Rush Game Friday Night

Saints Embark Upon Stretch Where They Play Six of Next Eight in Albany

ALBANY, NY - Siena Basketball returns to the Capital Region to begin a stretch where they play six of their next eight games within the friendly confines of the Times Union Center when the Saints host I-87 rival Marist Friday night at 7 p.m. in the Gold Rush Game presented by CAP COM Federal Credit Union. Siena is a perfect 7-0 so far this season at the Times Union Center where they've won 11 of the past 12 meetings against the rival Red Foxes.

Tickets to the game start as low as just $10 for adults (service fees apply if purchasing through Ticketmaster), and can be secured by clicking the corresponding link, in-person at the Times Union Center Box Office (opens at 10 a.m.), or by contacting Ticketmaster by phone at (800) 745-3000. The Siena Fan Relations Management Center is at your service to handle all your ticket inquiries, and can be reached by phone at (518) 487-2202, online at sienasaints.com/tickets, by e-mail at sienatickets2@siena.edu, or by stopping by the office located at the Times Union Center (opens at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays).

Siena (7-9, 3-4) will unveil its custom gold uniforms to wear for the first time this season for the Gold Rush Game. Likewise, all fans are encouraged to wear gold to the game to show their Siena pride as the Saints look to create a sea of gold in the Times Union Center.

Siena and Hannaford Supermarkets are set to team up once again Friday night to host their Fourth Annual Food Drive benefiting the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Fans who donate at least three non-perishable food items will receive a voucher good for two free tickets to a select upcoming 2019-20 Siena Basketball home game. The collection will take place on the Times Union Center concourse outside Sections 104 and 105. Volunteers will accept both non-perishable food items and monetary donations through the start of the second half of the game.

Siena returns to the Capital Region looking to keep its unblemished home record intact while also looking to snap a three-game losing streak. The Saints are the only Division I team which is undefeated at home and winless in true road games.

Marist (4-13, 3-5) enters play fresh off back-to-back home wins over four-time defending MAAC Tournament Champion Iona Sunday and in overtime over Manhattan two nights ago in Poughkeepsie.

Siena has dominated the all-time series against their I-87 rival, holding a 57-27 advantage over Marist. The Saints have captured 21 of the past 26 meetings, and Siena's .679 win% vs. the Red Foxes is its best vs. any program that it has faced at least 40 times

Robert Lee and Kelly O'Donnell have the call of the game on ESPN+, as well as the simulcast locally in the Capital Region on My4 Albany. The ESPN+ broadcast is accessible by clicking the corresponding link, and offers fans thousands of additional live events, on-demand content and original programming not available on ESPN's linear TV or digital networks. Fans can subscribe to ESPN+ for just $4.99 a month (or $49.99 per year) and cancel at any time. My4 Albany is simulcasting all 12 remaining Siena Basketball regular season home games, which are available to Spectrum subscribers in the Capital Region to view on Channel 4.

Pregame coverage commences at 6:30 p.m. locally on Talk1300 AM and 98.7 FM with A.J. Kanell and Andy Grazulis '92 on the call. Complimentary online audio of the broadcast can also be accessed by clicking the corresponding link at the top of the page.
