LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Swimming & Diving (3-7) will look to end it's 2020 dual meet season on a high note this weekend, with a pair of competitions taking place prior to postseason competition. The Saints will host Saint Francis (PA) at the Siena Swim Center on Saturday, February 1 at Noon on Senior Day before traveling to Newark, New Jersey to face off with Howard in neutral site action.

Entering its fourth consecutive weekend of dual meet action, Siena picked up its third MAAC victory last weekend in the Garden State, taking down conference foe Saint Peter's, 190-91, while narrowly falling to St. Francis Brooklyn, 145-144. The Saint took home four event victories, with freshman diver

Rachel Brown placing first in the 100 free. The Green and Gold also used the relay team of Kalac, freshman

In addition to being the third home meet of the season for the Saints, Saturday's contest will serve as the team's Senior Day, with its five graduating members being honored prior to the start of the meet. Seniors Brown,
Carrie Bonvissuto,
Alyssa Lewis,
Katelyn Ludwicki and
Larissa Nanna have each been four-year members of the squad, with Brown, Bonvissuto and Nanna all qualifying for the 2019 MAAC Championship Finals in at least one event last season.
Eight of the team's 14 best times in an event this season have been set by members of the freshman class, with Kalac, Shine and
Reilly King each doing so in multiple events. Siena swimmers currently sit inside the top-13 in the MAAC in 10 different events in terms of times swam, with Shine having recorded the 5
th best time in the league in the 100 fly (57.44) to-date. Additionally, DeLano has logged the conference's top score in the 3-meter diving with 245.85 points in the team's dual meet at Stony Brook in the fall.
One day after wrapping up home competition on the season, the Saints are scheduled to travel to NJIT's Wellness & Events Center in Newark, NJ to swim Howard in neutral site competition. The teams' meet last season was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Following its final weekend of dual meet competition, Siena will gear up for the 2020 MAAC Championships, which will take place from February 12-15 at the Burt Flickinger Center Pool on the campus of Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY. The Green and gold will take part in the meet for the 22
nd time in program history and will look to improve on and eighth place finish in 2019.
