HAMDEN, CT - Siena Basketball looks to complete the regular season series sweep of Quinnipiac and lock up a First Round bye in the MAAC Tournament when the Saints battle the Bobcats at 7 p.m. at the People's United Center. Siena enters tonight's pivotal road contest winners of eight of their last nine including five straight, marking the program's longest winning streak in a decade. 

Siena (15-10, 11-5) enters tonight's matchup holding firm in second place in the MAAC Standings. With a victory tonight, the Saints would not only clinch a First Round bye in next month's MAAC Tournament in Atlantic City, but also move back into a tie for first place in the standings with idle Saint Peter's with just three games remaining. 

Meanwhile Quinnipiac (12-14, 7-9), who entered last month's meeting with Siena in first-place at 6-3, is looking to get its season back on track after having dropped six of their last seven contests including five of which have come by double figures. The Bobcats enter tonight's matchup in a four-way tie for sixth place in the MAAC Standings, one game behind Iona who currently holds the final MAAC Tournament bye. 

Siena slammed the then first-place Bobcats 87-64 in the first meeting between the teams exactly one month ago in Albany. Jalen Pickett scored 25 points including 14 straight midway through a dominant second half for the Saints who shot 58% from the field to snap a four-game losing streak against Quinnipiac. Siena leads the all-time series between the relatively new MAAC foes 9-6.
