POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Winners of six straight and nine of their last 10 overall, first-place Siena Basketball looks to build upon its momentum when the Saints battle I-87 rival Marist at 7 p.m. at McCann Arena. Siena can secure a top-two seed in the MAAC Tournament tonight with a victory coupled with a Monmouth loss. 

Siena (16-10, 12-5) controls its own destiny for the No. 1 seed in the MAAC Tournament and an automatic NIT bid with three games remaining. With just seven days left in the regular season, the Saints stand atop the MAAC Standings and are a half-game clear of second place Saint Peter's. 

Fresh off an 84-77 win at Quinnipiac Wednesday night, Siena is in search of a sweep of its three-game road trip tonight. The Saints have won three of their last four road games after having dropped their first nine away from home to open the season. 

Marist (7-19, 6-11) enters tonight's contest in 10th place in the MAAC Standings. The Red Foxes have dropped four of their last five games, albeit two of which have been decided in overtime. Marist boasts six players averaging between 8.0 - 9.5 points as part of a balanced offense. 

Siena has controlled the all-time series with Marist to the tune of a 58-27 advantage. The Saints have won 22 of the past 27 meetings overall, however each of the past nine matchups in Poughkeepsie have been decided by single digits and by an average of just 5.1 points.
