ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - Siena Basketball begins its quest for a sixth Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship when the top-seeded Saints take on No. 9 Manhattan in the quarterfinals of the 2020 Hercules Tires MAAC Championships at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.

Siena (19-10) enters postseason play riding a nine-game winning streak, which is tied for the third longest in the program's eight-decade history. The Saints secured the program's eighth MAAC Regular Season Championship outright, and are set to be the No. 1 seed in the MAAC Tournament for the sixth time. Siena is 12-2 as the conference's top-seed in postseason action and won nine straight, capped by three consecutive MAAC Tournament Championships from 2008-10.
Manhattan (13-17) advanced to the MAAC Quarterfinals with a convincing 61-43 triumph over eighth seeded Fairfield last night. Third Team All-MAAC selection Pauly Paulicap posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Jaspers who held the Stags to just 25% shooting including only 2-13 from three.
Siena and Manhattan split their two regular season meetings, with the Jaspers posting an 81-69 victory on Jan. 12 in Riverdale and the Saints earning a split with a 65-52 triumph on Feb. 16 at the Times Union Center. First Team All-MAAC selection
Manny Camper posted double-doubles in both games, averaging 19.0 points and 11.5 rebounds for Siena. The Saints have won more MAAC Tournament games against Manhattan then any other league foe, posting an 8-2 record vs. the Jaspers punctuated by eight consecutive victories.
