The Siena Men's Tennis doubles pair of
Matt Nardone and
Agustin Suarez once again continued to set new standards for the program. The duo won their first match of the day, being the first pair in program history to advance to an ITA Regional Main Draw Round of 16.
Their first matchup of the day came against the tournaments #2 doubles seed pair in Columbia's Max Westphal and Hugo Hashimoto. That match would end in favor of Nardone and Suarez, as the duo topped Columbia's best by a final of 8-7 (8-6) in a breaker.
In the duo's second match of the afternoon, they would square off against Lehigh's Zack Elliott and Marc Blekhman in the Round of 16. The Green and Gold would fall in this matchup, falling just short in an 8-5 loss. With the loss, it would end the doubles weekend.
The weekend concludes the Saints fall season, where they won both dual team matches. The Saints will restart their season on Jan. 29 in a home matchup at Tri-City against LIU.
