LOUDONVILLE, NY – Winners of three of their last four matches, Siena Volleyball returns to the UHY Center on Wednesday evening as the Green and Gold take on the Quinnipiac Bobcats at 6 p.m.
Siena (3-14, 3-3) comes off a victory on Sunday afternoon, as they defeated the Saint Peter's Peacocks by a final score of 3-1 (26-24, 25-18, 23-25, 25-18)

Meghan Johnsson was the standout player for Siena, tossing out a new career-high 48 assists while falling a dig short of a double-double with nine. Junior

Sara Wagner each had 17 digs on the match as well, as the Saints defensively totaled a season-high 18 blocks as a team.
The Bobcats (3-12, 2-4) have struggled a little this season, and are currently on a two-match losing streak after facing Marist and Fairfield this past weekend. Maggie Baker and Aryanah Diaz have led the Quinnipiac offense, each currently averaging 2.6 kills per set. Chloe Ka'ahanui runs the offense from the setter position, and averages 7.45 assists per set. Diaz and Baker are both strong defensively, but is led by Faavae Kimsel Moe, as she sits with 208 total digs.
Siena had won 13 in a row over the Bobcats from 2002 through 2015 before the Bobcats have won six of the last eight matchups. The Saints and Bobcats did not face off in the spring of 2021, as the two teams split the season series in the fall of 2019.

Fans wishing to attend any Siena Athletics games held on campus are required to adhere to the Siena Athletics Spectator Policy. All spectators are required to complete the Siena Athletics Spectator Screening Form at sienasaints.com/spectatorregistration, and receive clearance to attend, prior to their arrival on campus. All spectators must be vaccinated to be able to attend, and are required to bring proof of vaccination with them to campus. Unvaccinated children 12 and under must remain masked at all times. Spectators are requested to enter campus via Route 9 through the College's main gate on Loudon Road and check in at the Welcome Booth. All forms of tailgating are also currently prohibited at this time. This policy is guided by the alert level established by Siena College's COVID-19 Operations Team and is subject to change based on current conditions. Siena College and the athletic department will continue to monitor developments and alert spectators of any adjustments made to this policy.
