The Siena Men's Tennis team competed and fell to ACC foe Boston College by a final score of 7-0 at Tri-City Fitness on Sunday evening.
 
The Saints dropped the early doubles point losing two of the three courts, as the Golden Eagles would go up 1-0 in the match heading into singles play. However, the duo of Geovanny Mendoza and Darek Kuczynski was able to win at #3 doubles by a final of 7-5.
 
In singles, junior Tomas del Olmo was the standout performer, going an exciting three sets at #1 singles. He would fall by a final score of 6-2, 3-6, 10-4, grabbing a solid win in the second set to push the limit in set three. Freshman Soma Yokoyama would also go three sets, winning his first set 6-3 before falling 6-3, 10-6 in the final two sets. All other Saints fell in straight sets.
 
The Saints return to action on Saturday, April 3 when they head to Marist to take on the Red Foxes in their first MAAC action of the season. First serve is slated for 12:45 p.m.
