Siena's men's & women's golf teams each began play at the SHU Spring Invitational hosted by Sacred Heart University Sunday morning at Great River Golf Course in Milford, Connecticut. Both Saints squads are in 10
th place entering day two of the 36-hole event, with the men shooting +23, 311 as a team and the women carding +33, 321 to land in a tie with Fairfield and Hartford.

Sacred Heart (-1, 287) leads the 11-team field on the men's side, while St. John's (+11, 299) currently holds the top spot on the women's end. Two teams from the women's field and four from the men's field failed to complete round one action due to rainy conditions, and will aim to make up action prior to the start of the second round on Monday.

After leading the Saints in action during their last tournament, sophomore
Nolan Crowley picked up where he left off, carding a round of even, 72 with two birdies to finish day one action in a split for sixth place. Senior
Jack Brown carded +2, 72 with three birdies to end in a knot for 17
