The Siena Women's Tennis team faced the Fairfield Stags on Sunday night, and fell by a final score of 5-2.
The Saints struggled early, falling on all three courts in doubles play to fall into an early 1-0 deficit. As singles play started, junior
Meagan Brown got the Saints on the board with a win at #1 singles. She would win in straight sets by a final of 7-5, 6-0. Freshman
Emma Boggiali would also take a win 6-2, 6-3 at #5 singles.
Petra Miszczak and
Anastasia Koniaev each went three sets in losses in singles as well.
The Saints return to action Wednesday, Apr. 14 when the Saints play host to Marist at Tri-City Fitness beginning at 8 p.m.
