The Siena Women's Tennis team brought home their second MAAC Championship in program history on Sunday afternoon, as the No. 3 seeded Saints took down the No. 1 seed Quinnipiac Bobcats by a final score of 4-1 at the Mercer County Park Tennis Center.

Junior
Meagan Brown would win Tournament MVP, as she would go a perfect 2-0 for the second straight day with wins in both doubles and singles play.

The Saints started the day strong, winning the opening doubles point as the duo of Brown and
Kylie Mullaney worked a 6-3 victory at #1 Doubles, beating Quinnipiac's Claire Koscielski and Kamilla Nella. The #2 Doubles pair of sophomore
Petra Miszczak and freshman
Emma Boggiali would clinch the point, as they defeated Dominique Vasile and Stephanie Yanosov by a score of 6-1.

With momentum on their side, the Saints brought the same energy into singles play as Brown dominated at the top court, winning 6-0, 6-0 for the Saints second point of the day. Junior
Anastasia Koniaev would win at #6 Singles just moments later by a score of 6-0, 6-4 to bring the Saints one point from their berth.

Needing just one point and four courts in play, the Saints would look to the freshman Boggiali as she won her first set 7-5. Holding a lead in the second set, Boggiali would clinch the match, winning 6-3 to wrap up the match for Siena.

Quinnipiac would manage a point at #2 Singles, while both Miszczak and
Maanya Viswanath would each go unfinished in their matches after being knotted up at 1-1 when Boggiali clinched.

The Saints now await their opponent in the NCAA Selection Show, taking place next Monday, May 3 at 6 p.m.
