LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Athletics announced the hiring of
Kelley Stuetz as its Assistant Advisor for Student Athlete Development Wednesday, adding more support to the Student Services branch of the department. Stuetz will serve as the primary academic advisor for the Saints' Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Cross Country & Track programs, and will provide additional assistance to S.A.IN.T.S Advisor
Sarah Sivertson in enhancing the department's Student Athlete Services office.
"Kelley will be a great asset to our SAS office and the department, and we are very excited to have her aboard," Sivertson said. "She will allow us to March On to greater lengths in providing academic support for our student athletes."
Stuetz brings valuable collegiate athletic experience to Loudonville, having most recently served in the athletic department at Rowan College of Burlington County in Mount Laurel, New Jersey over the past two years. There, she worked as an Athletics and Student Services Generalist, where she assisted in advising student athletes with academic advising, registration, financial aid, and other related services. She also served as the Interim NJ Stars Coordinator and the Marketing and Communications Coordinator during her time in Mount Laurel.
As a graduate assistant at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Stuetz worked with the Athletics Academic Mentoring Program to provide guidance to student athletes from 2017-19, and also served as a team mentor for the Golden Rams' softball program. A native of Glenside, PA, Stuetz began her time in collegiate athletics as an intern within the athletic communications department at Arcadia University in Glenside from August to December of 2018.
A 2017 graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a bachelor's degree in digital media technologies, Stuetz went on to receive a master's degree in communications and media, as well as a certificate in higher education and student affairs from West Chester in 2019. A four-year letterwinner on the ESU women's track and field team from 2013-17, she specialized in hurdles and the high jump for the Warriors.
