LOUDONVILLE, NY – Following a season in which both regular season dual meet action and postseason competition were cancelled, Siena Swimming & Diving is set to return to the pool for a full schedule in the 2021-22 season. The Saints will embark on nine regular season events leading up to the 2022 MAAC Championships, and including a pair of home dual meets at the Siena Swim Center.

The 23
rd season in the program's history will commence on Saturday, October 9, when the team heads to Vestal, New York to face Binghamton and MAAC foe Niagara at 1 PM, signaling the first for four conference opponents on the schedule. Siena will then host its first of two home dual meets against Assumption at the Siena Swim Center on Saturday, October 16 at 1 PM.
The Green and Gold will round out the month of October by heading to the University of Rochester for the first time ever, where they will face off against the Yellow Jackets and MAAC rival Canisius on Saturday, October 23 at 1 PM. Following a weekend off, Siena will be back at home to open November against New Hampshire in Loudonville on Saturday, November 6 at 11 AM.
A tough conference tri-meet awaits the Saints on the schedule for Friday, November 12, with Siena, Monmouth, and Manhattan facing off in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Following dual action at Stony Brook on Saturday, November 20, the Green and Gold will travel to New Britain, Connecticut for the three-day Blue Devil Invite hosted by Central Connecticut State December 3-5.
Once the calendar turns to the new year, Siena will take to the road twice in January 2022 for non-conference action, with the first meet coming at Vermont on Saturday, January 16 at 2 PM. The Saints will wrap regular season dual meet action on Saturday, January 22 at 1 PM when they travel to Loretto, Pennsylvania to face Saint Francis (PA).
After bring held virtually during the Spring 2021 season with Siena unable to participate, the MAAC Championships will return to Buffalo, New York February 9-12, 2022. Siena will once again take on the best of the MAAC at the Burt Flickinger Center Pool on the campus of Erie Community College.

Deb Kirkpatrick, the Saints boast 18 returners from last year's roster, including seven swimmers who hold times on the program's All-Time Performers List.
Fans wishing to attend any Siena Athletics games held on campus are required to adhere to the Siena Athletics Spectator Policy. All spectators are required to complete the Siena Athletics Spectator Screening Form at sienasaints.com/spectatorregistration, and receive clearance to attend, prior to their arrival on campus. All spectators must be vaccinated to be able to attend, and are required to bring proof of vaccination with them to campus. Unvaccinated children 12 and under must remain masked at all times. Spectators are requested to enter campus via Route 9 through the College's main gate on Loudon Road and check in at the Welcome Booth. All forms of tailgating are also currently prohibited at this time. This policy is guided by the alert level established by Siena College's COVID-19 Operations Team and is subject to change based on current conditions. Siena College and the athletic department will continue to monitor developments and alert spectators of any adjustments made to this policy.
