MONTGOMERY, NY – Siena Cross Country returned to action after a week off, taking part at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational Saturday at Twin Ponds at The Farm in Montgomery, New York.

Both Siena teams placed sixth, with several individuals showing improvements as the fall season continues. MAAC counterparts Rider (1
st), Marist (2
nd), and host Manhattan (7
th) also took part in the event.

Freshman
Claire Gardner steadied the women in the 6k, placing ninth individually with a time of 22:33.3 for the program's fourth-fastest freshman and 16
th-fastest overall 6k time. Junior
Delia McDade Clay followed behind with a mark of 23:09.8 to place 16
th.

Other Siena underclassmen impressed in the women's 6k, with
Julia Caputo taking 33
rd (24:11.9),
Anna Grucza placing 39
th (24:53.3),
Bella Kieser running 44
th (25:47.4), and
Isabella Painter placing 57

Siena's competitors in the men's 8k were led by junior
Tommy Anderson, who clocked a 26:08.9 to finish 11
th individually. Sophomore
Killian McNamee placed 23
