Siena's defensive adjustment, in part, led to season-highs of 13 steals and 20 turnovers forced as the Saints quickly began to chip away. Siena scored the ensuing 10 points, and ultimately responded with a 23-5 run, to rally all the way back to reclaim their first lead since the opening moments at 56-55 on a pair of Rogers free throws with 2:59 remaining.
Two possessions later, Ituka completed a game-tying three-point play to draw the Red Foxes even, but Gaines responded with a three-point play on the ensuing possession to put the Saints back in front for good.
