th minute as Saint Peter's defeated Siena Women's Soccer 1-0 at Hickey Field.
Brooke Boermeester made five saves for the Saints who suffered their third straight 1-0 defeat.
A physical affair featured a combined 32 fouls – 21 of which were whistled on Saint Peter's (4-12, 3-5) – and seven total cards were issued. The Peacocks held an 11-10 edge in shots, while Siena (1-10-5, 0-5-3) harbored a 5-3 advantage in corners in another evenly played contest.
Saint Peter's took advantage in the defensive third for the lone strike, as Skyler Owens settled a header and found a cutting Grassifulli who finished across inside the top left corner.
Olivia Mackethan made three saves to record the shutout for Saint Peter's.
Cora Keohane paced the offense with three shots for the Saints, while
