BETHLEHEM, PA – Siena Men's Golf began its final action of the Fall 2022 season at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on Friday. Through one round of play on the par-72, 7,091-yard course, the Saints (+10, 298) sit in sixth place in the 15-team field.
St John's leads all competitors heading into the final round of play, while MAAC counterparts Rider (second), Fairfield (ninth), and Iona (tenth) are also participating.
The Saints were led by freshman Austin Giroux, who finished tied for eighth individually after birdying three times on a round of even, 72. Senior Nolan Crowley and graduate student Brody Yates each carded +2, 74 to tie for 18th, while senior Matthew Ferrari went for +6, 78 to split for 40th. Sophomore Dan Brooks rounded out the team's five-man competition squad with a round of +9, 81 to knot for 58th.
Siena will conclude fall play with round two of the Lehigh Invitational on Saturday, October 22 beginning at 8 AM.
