The Siena Men's Tennis team came out flying on Sunday afternoon, as the Green and Gold took a 7-0 victory over the Colgate Raiders in Syracuse.
Siena swept through, first taking the doubles point with wins on #1 and #2 doubles courts.
Agustin Suarez and
Matt Nardone took a 6-3 win, while
Dante Russo and
Tomas del Olmo snuck out a 7-6 (5) win at #1 doubles.
All six singles courts took victories, with four of the six courts winning in straight sets. Sophomore
Dante Russo won 6-4, 6-1 at #1 singles – leading the charge with the second point. Suarez would win the clinching point, taking the fourth point to seal the victory.
The Saints return to action next Saturday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. when they play host to the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers.
