Saints Look to Bounce Back at Quinnipiac Thursday

Siena Continues Pivotal Five-Game, 10-Day Stretch

HAMDEN, CT - Siena Basketball continues its grueling five-game, 10-day stretch when the Saints take on Quinnipiac Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the People's United Center.

Siena (13-11, 10-6) enters yet another pivotal contest looking to bounce back from a 71-59 setback at Monmouth Tuesday night. The Saints begin the day in a three-way tie for second place in the MAAC Standings with both the Hawks and Saint Peter's with four games remaining.

Quinnipiac (12-12, 7-9) also enters play in a logjam of their own in the MAAC Standings, as they sit in a three-way tied for sixth with both Manhattan and Niagara, and a just a half game back of Marist for the final MAAC Tournament bye. The Bobcats have struggled down the stretch, having dropped five of their last six.

Siena leads the all-time series between their contemporary MAAC rivals 11-6, and have won three straight. The Saints erupted for a season-high scoring output in an 85-76 win over Quinnipiac on Jan. 30 in Albany behind a career-high 27 points from Colby Rogers
