The Siena Women's Tennis team ended their weekend strong, as they defeated the Lafayette Leopards by a final score of 6-1 in Easton, Pennsylvania Sunday afternoon.
 
Siena took control from the get go, clinching the doubles point quick with the combos of 
Meagan Brown and 
Laia Giralt at #1 doubles and 
Maanya Viswanath and 
Anastasia Koniaev at #2 doubles. Viswanath and Koniaev took a quick 6-2 win, while Brown and Giralt worked their way to a 6-4 win.
 
In singles, the Saints ran through the lineup one through five, as 
Nanea Perkins and Brown set the tone with wins to give Siena a 3-0 lead. Brown took a 6-4, 6-4 win while Perkins took a hard fought 4-6, 6-3, 10-2 comeback win. Koniaev had the clinching fourth point at #4 singles, winning 6-1, 6-3.
 
The Saints return to action on Saturday, Mar. 5 in a matchup with the Niagara Purple Eagles to open MAAC play.
